JUNIOR ARCHITECT INTERN IN AN ARCHITECTURAL STUDIO

Daily Tasks & Duties

  • Design Assistance: The intern will assist the senior architects in the design process, including sketching, drafting, and model-making.
  • Research and Analysis: The intern will conduct research on building codes, zoning regulations, and other factors that may impact the design process.
  • Site Visits: The intern may be required to accompany the senior architect’s on- site visits to assess existing conditions, gather data, and take measurements.
  • Document Preparation: The intern may be responsible for preparing construction documents, including plans, elevations, and details, as well as writing specifications and reports.
  • Revit Modeling: The intern will be expected to have a basic understanding of Revit and will be responsible for creating and updating architectural models.
  • Team Collaboration: The intern will work closely with other members of the design team, including senior architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Presentations: The intern may be required to assist with presentations and client meetings, including creating visual aids, handouts, and other materials.

Education & Prerequisites

  • High proficiency in Revit
  • Background in architecture
  • Serious and motivated
  • Good understanding of the English language
