It depends on the company. Some companies might want to work on-site, while others might offer a remote or hybrid internship.

Why are internships unpaid?
Because foreign interns need to be invited by host companies under a type of visa that does not allow for remuneration.
In fact, any hosting company promoting a paid internship in Indonesia under the required visa would be going against Indonesian immigration law.

Although there are multiple options, the most common type of accommodation to stay in Bali for an extended amount of time is shared guesthouses, where you will meet a lot of interesting people and get a fully furnished place.

For booking your stay in Bali or looking up information on other accommodation types, we recommend you to visit pages like Airbnb, Facebook Groups/MarketPlace, or Agoda.
We offer direct owner contacts that have been tested by our past interns or trusted accommodations that we have verified.
